DISTRICT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SURVEY
Dear Students:
Please answer these questions about your school experience. For students in elementary school, watch the video that will explain the directions for you. The survey is very easy to take. You will be able to click on the link and answer questions. Also, there are three open questions where you will be able to write comments. All student responses are anonymous and student names are not identified.

Welcome to third grade! My name is Ms. Johnson. I look forward to working with your child! I have been a third grade teacher at East Street School for twenty one years. Third grade is an exciting and challenging year for the children. You can be assured that I will take your child’s individual learning styles into consideration when planning my lessons and assigning class work and homework. In addition to learning many new things, your child will also be taking his/her first state tests this year. I will work hard to keep your child comfortable and unstressed, while teaching various test-taking strategies. I truly need you to support these strategies, as well as my academic, homework, and discipline efforts. I will work with you and your child to establish high goals and realistic ways of reaching those goals.
